Howard County 4-H Member Receives Kiser 4-H Scholarship

AMES, Iowa -- A $750 scholarship has been awarded to a Howard County 4-H Member. Brooke Jensen of LeRoy, Minnesota received the Kiser 4-H Scholarship sponsored by the Kiser Scholarship Fund and its contributors.
Jensen, a nine-year member, is the daughter of Eric and Monica Jensen. She is active in horse, swine and beef project areas. Jensen has served as president, vice-president and secretary of her local 4-H club and has attended the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference. In high school, she was active in FFA, band and track.
"I have learned many skills in my major 4-H projects," said Jensen. "I learned that I want to be an encourager in life."
Jensen recently graduated from Riceville Community School and will be attending Iowa State University to major in Animal Science.
