AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University Extension will offer the Creating Strong Families program via satellite on Thursday, April 20, from 1-3 p.m. Central Time in Cedar Rapids, Clarinda, Charles City and Nevada.
Designed for professionals who work with families, Creating Strong Families will cover family strengths research and best practice activities to help families build upon their assets. The program also will debut the new book, “Family Treasures — Creating Strong Families,” by John DeFrain, professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
