Adair County 4-H'er Earns Citizenship Project Award

AMES, Iowa -- Hannah Jensen of Adair County received a state 4-H citizenship project award that includes a $100 savings bond from the Mary Jo and Glen Mente Endowment. Jensen, 17, is the daughter of Kenny and Pam Jensen of Greenfield.
During her ten years of 4-H involvement, Jensen has completed several major projects including consumer management, food and nutrition, citizenship, leadership and working exhibits. She has served her local 4-H club as president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and historian. Jensen has attended the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference/Animal Science Roundup in Ames, Iowa, the Citizenship Washington Focus trip to Washington D.C., and the National 4-H Congress in Atlanta, Georgia. She has served on her County and Area 4-H Councils and has received a state 4-H project award in consumer management. Jensen has also received the Outstanding Junior and Intermediate Awards and awards in leadership and food and nutrition.
Jensen is a senior at Nodaway Valley High School.
