Worth County 4-H'er Earns Food and Nutrition Project Award
AMES, Iowa -- Elizabeth Hill of Worth County received a state 4-H food and nutrition project award that includes a $100 savings bond from Latham Seeds. Hill, 16, is the daughter of Eric and Alison Hill of Manly.
During her seven years of 4-H involvement, Hill has completed several major projects including food and nutrition, communication, leadership, sewing and visual arts. She has served her local 4-H club as secretary, historian and Share the Fun leader. Hill has attended the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference/Animal Science Roundup in Ames, Iowa. She has served on her County and Area 4-H councils and the Iowa State 4-H Council. Hill also received a state 4-H project award in communication. She has received county and area awards in communication and food and nutrition and the 2004 TAP county award.
"Through 4-H, I have gained many life skills that are helping me achieve my life goals one project at a time," said Hill.
