Extension 4-H Youth Building Sponsors Service Project
AMES, Iowa-- Staff in the Iowa State University Extension 4-H Youth Building are sponsoring a food pantry service project for the upcoming holidays. It also will coordinate with ISU Extension week being celebrated across the state the week of Nov. 13, according to Elaine Edwards, ISU Extension communications manager.
Donations can be dropped off at the Extension 4-H Youth Building for the food pantry service project. The items will be donated to Mid-Iowa Community Action Inc. and Bethesda Community Food Pantry.
Suggestions for donations include non-perishable, unopened, unexpired food items; personal hygiene items; household supplies, infant needs; and gift certificates for grocery stores. Goods can be dropped off during the workday from Nov. 14-18 at the Extension 4-H Youth Building on the corner of Stange and 13th Street.
