"4-H has taught me to be a goal-oriented person and to have a strong work ethic. I have gained a tremendous amount of leadership and communication skills that have and will benefit me greatly," Smith said. "I plan on taking the skills I have gained through my 4-H and beef projects and apply them to a business atmosphere."
