4-H Day at the Legislature

Some 450 Iowa 4-H'ers representing 59 counties will participate in the fourth annual 4-H Day at the Legislature, Tuesday, March 22, in Des Moines. Sen. Eugene Fraise and Rep. Jack Drake, honorary co-chairs for the event, will address the group at the Historical Building following an omelet breakfast sponsored by the Iowa Egg Council. The 4-H'ers can meet with their legislators at both the breakfast and at the Capitol, where they will display community service projects in the Rotunda. 4-H'ers also will tour the Capitol, the Iowa Supreme Court, and Meredith Publishing.
