Wayne County 4-H Member Receives Kiser 4-H Scholarship

AMES, Iowa -- A $750 scholarship has been awarded to a Wayne County 4-H member. Casey Warren, Seymour, received the Kiser 4-H Scholarship sponsored by contributors to the Iowa 4-H Foundation and the Kiser Scholarship fund.

 

Warren, a nine-year 4-H member, is the son of Larry and Patty Warren. He has served as treasurer and reporter of his 4-H club. Warren has participated most actively in the horse, sheep, welding and personal development project areas. He was a County 4-H Council and County Youth Committee member. Warren has attended the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference.

 

"4-H has always been a part of my life," Warren said. "It has helped me grow as a person, learn responsibilities and work with other people."

 

Warren is a freshman at Iowa State University where he is studying animal science.
