What does it mean to be a good citizen?

We all have different ideas about what citizenship means. To one person, it may mean voting and learning about what is happening in the city government. To another, it may mean cleaning a park after a community event. It may also mean talking with others and developing a plan to help others become aware of an unwanted land-fill proposal. Whatever citizenship means to you, it is important that we all care about what happens in our communities and find somewhere that we can help.

Look at the Pick a Project Newspaper and get some ideas that will help you to become a better citizen. Are you interested in doing something right in your neighborhood or in the world community? Decide what you want to do to become a better citizen and get out there and do something!
