Daleta Christensen has been named Youth Development Field Specialist.  She will be responsible for Iowa State University Extension youth development education programs in Muscatine County. She will also serve Louisa County.  She will be housed in the Muscatine County Extension office in Muscatine.

Before coming to Extension, Christensen had most recently been program director with Lawyers for Children America, Inc. in Miami, Florida. Prior to that, she served as an assistant director of the State of Florida Guardian Ad Litem Program. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa in Psychology and is a graduate of West Liberty Community Schools.
