Volunteer 4-H leaders who have been screened within the last year must attend a New Leader Training.
The six-hour training is designed to give new volunteers a better working knowledge of positive youth development, the Iowa 4-H Equation, and tools that will help them be more confident and capable in their roles working with youth.
Muscatine County Extension is seeking a 4H AmeriCorps Community Outreach Educator to conduct programs for positive youth development activities with the afterschool Clover Kids programming. This may include afterschool, summer and holiday breaks or inschool settings.

In Year 1, begin planing, developing partnerships, and provide representation on the project's steering committee of community members. Years 2-5, identify and work with 15 new families each year, as well as serve as the Community Site Program Coordinator and Community Site Success Coach.
