05/10/2008- Muscatine County 4-H Sheep & Meat Goat Weigh-In
The Muscatine County 4-H sheep and meat goat weigh-in for youth planning to exhibit at the county fair will be held on May 10.

05/14/2008- 4-H Dog Obedience Classes
Muscatine County 4-H Dog Obedience classes will begin on Wednesday, April 30, at 7:00 p.m. at the Webber Riding Academy on Bayfield Road north of Muscatine. 05/15/2008- 4-H Project Enrollment Deadline
4-H Project Enrollments are due at the Extension Office on May 15. To be eligible to show your livestock project at the county fair, you must have your identification forms to the Extension office. Also,this will be the last day to add or drop enrollments in any other 4-H project areas.

05/15/2008- 4-H'ers Prepare for Fair Workshop
First-year 4-H members and their families are invited to come learn how to prepare for the fair. Activities will include exhibit write-ups, goal writing, and you will see what it is like to have your exhibit judged at the fair by bringing something you have made (does not need to be made for 4-H). Any 4th-7th Graders are invited to attend a Fashion Workshop. You will spend time learning about shopping for the right jeans for you, the newest trends in style and color, and choosing clothes for your body type. 06/01/2008- Muscatine County 4-H Horse Show
Dates for the Muscatine County 4-H Horse Show season are June 1 (this date has been changed), July 6, August 24, and September 14. All shows will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be held at the Tom Martin Arena, Muscatine County Fairgrounds, West Liberty. All participants must wear a ASTM approved riding helmet.
