Have you spotted the truck yet?

Traveling almost everyday for the past two weeks, the "A-Team" has been to many county fairs and attractions across the State of Iowa. We are easily seen going down the road, so next time you see us there or at a county fair, give us a wave and get your tickets!

Some of our highlights so far have included the following:

Shelby County Fair: We were fortunate to take part in their county fair parade.
Dallas County Fair: What great fair entertainment! Dallas County did a great job of entertaining us and people at the fair while we sold tickets throughout the day.
Calhoun County Fair: The kids at this fair enjoyed carnival games, face painting and ice cream.
Polk County Fair: It was a great night for a 4-H barbeque supper!
Wright County Fair and Story County Fair: These were both outstanding fairs and have both topped our tickets sales with each selling over 100.

Ticket sales have reached almost 600. Volunteers are doing great and we appreciate all ticket buyers. Keep watching for the truck and don't forget to buy your tickets!

Ticket sales are well on their way!

After a busy week of 4-H State Conference, the 4-H Truck got much publicity! Traveling to two events which included the WHO Tractor Ride in Boone and the Jefferson County Fair in Fairfield, ticket sales got to a great start.

With the WHO Tractor Ride as our first event, we quickly learned the ropes on setting up, selling tickets and getting to our destination safely. It was fun to see all the tractors and drivers; thank you!

On Saturday, June 28, we made the two and a half hour journey to Fairfield. It was great meeting the wonderful group of volunteers and appreciated their enthusiasm! Thank you for donating your time and working so hard to sell tickets. Also, thank you to those who generously bought tickets.

On Friday, July 4, the 4-H Truck will be in Osceola for their 4th of July Parade and Celebration. Don't miss the truck and your chance to buy tickets!
