Just a note. I've been playing Texas Hold Em on Yahoo. It's fun and relaxing. I doubt I'm any good, but I am up over $1,000 since I started a couple of day's ago. Probably no large feat watching how some people come and go.

Tonight I got into a game where everyone knew each other and all of a sudden I got booted from the game. I was pretty annoyed (for those who know me, this means "pissed"). I asked the person who booted me, but I got no response. Another person in the game was kind enough to explain their table had special rules regarding "checking" before the Flop.

A couple of lessons learned...

Look for any special table rules before entering a game.

Playing poker on-line is like driving a car, people can be pretty rude if they aren't actually sitting right across from you.
