Campfire - Web-based Team Chatting

This application is very interesting. The cost may be to high (monthly cost), but I really like how the application works and I would love to see it integrated into something like SharePoint.

I think Campfire is more similar to the VolanoChat product. Which eXtension does have available for use, but i'm not sure what the long-term plans for the software are.

Kevin, Thanks for the comment. I may not know enough about Jabber to answer, but I like the way it is secure, you can have multiple rooms, see who is in a room (and who is active), review via the web any discussion, and scale with multiple people in a room. It seems simple and clean. However, an open-standards implementation server/client like Jabber probably has greater potential to scale and be flexible.

How's this much different that what can be done with Jabber? I know Jabber needs a client but it's also free.
