Ooooh, baby (MY Blue Ribbon Grandbaby)
Well, it's about time!!
Sophia Marie (Sophie) arrived Saturday night, July 5, at 9:20 PM, weighing in at 6# 12 oz, 21 inches long, 10 fingers, 10 toes, and quite possibly the most adorable baby ever born! She has lots of soft blonde hair, blue eyes, and an ecstatic extended family to welcome her home. Everyone asks if she looks like Dan, but the truth is, I never had a baby that small, so it's kind of hard to tell. She looks an awful lot like herself at this point.
I've posted a few pictures on Picasa for those of you who just can't get enough baby pictures!! I'm sure there will be more!! Thanks for all your good wishes as I waited and waited and waited!!

She is adorable! Both of my children were a lot bigger than that also. I wouldn't know what to do with a baby that tiny. :-)
