The 2016 Montgomery County 4-H Awards Celebration was hosted by the County Youth Council.  Several youth from Montgomery County were recognized for their efforts through the year in their 4-H project areas as well as for their record keeping skills.  The awards celebration is also a way to recognize and thank all of the many outstanding volunteers and sponsors who have donated their time, skills, and effort to promote the growth of the Montgomery County 4-H program.

ISU Extension and Outreach Montgomery County is celebrating CyDay Friday on October 28th by providing Harvest Hospitality to Montgomery County farmers, truckers and residents. Join us in our front parking lot at 400 Bridge Street from 2 pm to 4 pm as we distribute cookies, apples, refreshments and Cyclone gear to area farmers, truckers and residents.

Every Wednesday Red Oak 4-6th graders engage in real world problem-solving activities during an afterschool STEM program at the Montgomery County Family YMCA. The STEM Program fosters curiosity for science, technology, engineering and math.
