Child care providers are invited to a professional development day on Saturday, April 11at Waubonsie State Park near Hamburg.   The event starts at 8:00A with registration. Two workshops will be offered.

AMES, Iowa – Iowans will learn how to maximize their resources and share their extras during the 2015 Eco Family Project from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. Registration is still open for the project, which began March 19 and runs through June 11.

Understanding Iowa’s child care system and regulations can help parents make a child care decision that fits their family, says Kim Brantner, a human sciences specialist in family life with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.
