Women, Land & Legacy of Southwest Iowa is excited to present “Women Gaining Ground,” a one-day conference designed to be fun and empowering for women from all walks of life.  The conference will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Glenwood High School. This year’s keynote speaker will be Juli Burney, an award winning teacher, entertainer and author. Juli’s credentials include the ability to entertain like a headline comedian while inspiring audiences with the ease of a top-notch motivational speaker.

Learn to more effectively feed your cows…and your bank account!  An educational program for beginning and early-career beef producers will be held in Red Oak on December 14 at 6:30 pm at the Montgomery County Extension Office. The program will help producers improve their production and financial management skills. Financial tools will be introduced, and learning will be hands-on in a workshop session. Presenters include Iowa State University Extension and Outreach field specialists, Chris Clark and Tim Eggers.
