Summer time is fast approaching and for most families, that means no school. Does it also mean it’s time for the lazy days of summer? Not necessarily, says Sandra McKinnon, a family life program specialist with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. Instead, plan for a summer of learning.

Looking for a summer job?  We might be looking for you!

Youth 5th grade and older can take a two session course to become a well informed babysitter!

Flat Bobby and Squished Suzie are very interested in joining 4-H, but they want you as Region 17 4-H Members to show them what things 4-H'ers do. First color them and decorate them, then take them with you and your club as do fun things at your meetings, workshops or community service activities. Take a photo with them and post to the Region 17 4-H Member Facebook Page to show the world what cool things you shared with Flat Bobby and Squished Suzie about being in 4-H!
