The final results and awards program for the 2008 Livestock Judging Circuit was held on Tuesday, August 12 in the Livestock Pavilion at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. The Albia FFA Chapter was honored with team and individual awards.
The Albia FFA Chapter placed 2nd in the state. The team consisted Taylor Crall, Chelsea Tratchel and Donnie Conway. They received plaques and chairs donated by B&B Equipment, Albia and Lathrop Farms of Albia. Taylor Crall tied for 5th place overall as an indivdual and received a special award from the State FFA committee. Daryl Schofield, FFA Advisor is the coach for the team.
The members have attended contests in Story, Dallas, Monroe, Ida nd Cass Counties.
