The Monroe County 4-H Food Club members Brandon Henderson and Anna Dalman work on creating a lasagna dish for the club's community service project. The members of the Food Club made 25 lasagna dishes and 25 plates of cookies to be handed out to the NEST families. Club member Salina Henderson said "It is nice to know we are helping someone else out especially with the holidays coming up." The 4-H Food Club meets on the last Saturday of each month and they invite any youth in grades 4-12 to come and cook with them! If you are interested in joining please contact the Monroe County Extension Office at 641-932-5612 or e-mail tratchel@iastate.edu.
