The 2009-2010 Clover Club program is gearing up for another great year of games, snacks, activities and just plain fun for all joining in Monroe County! The group is open to all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade youth. The dates for the 2009-2010 school year are set for September 10th, October 8th, November 12th, January 14th, February 11th, March 11th, and April 8th. The group meets from 3:30-5:00 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church located on East Benton in Albia. The Albia Community School District will again be running a special bus to transport the students to the church following dismissal from school.
“We have put together some new and exciting plans for our meetings this year.” Said Angela Tratchel, Monroe County 4-H Youth Coordinator. “The members interact within their own specific grade level and participate in educational activities, make a craft, physical fitness events, and have a snack each month.” The cost for each member is $15.00 and scholarships are available upon request. Registration forms are available at 104 N Clinton Street, Albia and must be on file by Tuesday, September 8th to ensure participation at the first meeting.
