The Troy Good Homemakers had a fun meeting last Saturday. Officers were elected, and discussions began on important business that will take place February 11th when we meet again, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Monroe County Extension Office. At the next meeting club members will vote on the May Breakfast theme, select this year's service project, and pick a creative topic for the Spring Project Workshop!
The Monroe County Fair Board's Family Fun Night will feature the traditional soup supper on Saturday, January 21st at the KC Hall in Albia. 4-Hers are needed to help, so join in the fun. Troy Good Homemakers are to bring desserts which can be delivered to the KC Hall starting at noon on Saturday, and before 4:30 p.m. Serving starts at 5:00 p.m., and you can aid by helping serve, bussing tables, cleaning up, etc. Please call the Extension Office with any questions: 641-932-5612.
County 4-H enrollments are due February 1st. If you did not receive the 4-H Newsletter emailed by the Extension Office this week, please check your enrollment status by calling Autumn Denato at 641-932-5612. County enrollments must be completed by February 1st!
