The Monroe County Extension and Outreach is partnering with the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) to help farmers and landowners understand their options under the Agricultural Act of 2014 (commonly referred to as the Farm Bill).  Price Loss Coverage (PLC), County Agricultural Risk Coverage (ARC-CO), and Individual Agricultural Risk Coverage (ARC-IC) programs will be explained.  Learn aboutsome of the new farm bill provisions and decision tools available, discuss ARC and PLC options and learn about the decisions to be made by landowners and producers in the coming months.  Charles Brown, ISU Extension Farm Management Specialist, will be presenting along with an FSA office representative.  The meeting will last approximately 2 1/2 hours.  Please pre-register via phone or e-mail 48 in advance of meeting as handouts will be provided and refreshments served.  The meeting is open to the public and is free of charge.
