Last week while we were enjoying our county fair a momma bunny decided to have her babies in one of our flower pots here at the extension office.  

This week when we checked on them they have doubled in size and are almost ready to jump out and start their adventure.

Small family farms make up about 80% of all farms in Iowa.  The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach program in Small Farm Sustainability exists to open the door to relationships and resources relevant to the pursuit of sustainability for Iowa's smaller-scale, entrepreneurial farm enterprises.
