Sixteen Monona County 4-H Seniors receive 4-H Foundation College Scholarships for 2013

This is the fifteenth year that the foundation is pleased to present college scholarships to eligible 4-H members. For 2013, sixteen graduating seniors in Monona County met the eligibility requirements of 4-H participation, high school grades, and enrollment in post secondary education or a military branch to receive scholarships in the amount of $250 each.

Financial Check Up for Parents and Graduates

It is not intended to be inclusive of all the financial decisions families will face, but should start you on the road to making the necessary adjustments that will avoid costly omissions and unexpected bills. Soup Supper Held in March Receives Matching Funds

May 21, 2013

A soup supper was held on March 9, 2013 at the Blencoe Community Building in Blencoe to support the Monona County Fair. Nearly $500 were raised the night of the soup supper with additional matching funds of $200 received through Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Monona County Chapter.
