Chef Ben Halprin of the Augusta Restaurant in Oxford, with the help of the Mitchell County Cattleman’s Association, will be featured at the Town to Country Cookout, from 5:30-9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Steve and Beth Rachut farm.

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Mitchell County is hosting a farmland leasing meeting on August 14, at 9 A.M. to address questions that land owners, tenants, or other interested individuals have about farmland leasing.
