Prevention of identity theft requires awareness of the most common types of fraud and knowledge of how to avoid being a target.  Mitchell County Sheriff Greg Beaver will talk about the most common scams and how to not fall victim to these scam artists, as well as, good practices to keep your information private and maximize your financial and personal safety in an unsafe world at a free program scheduled for Thursday, April 24th at 1 p.m. at the ISU Extension and Outreach office, 315 Main St., Osage.

Iowa State University Mitchell County Extension and Outreach is seeking a person to fill the position of Youth Daycamp and 4-H Program Assistant.   This position is a temporary, part-time (32 hr/per week) summer position from mid-May to mid-August.  This employee will work to assist in educational programs for school aged youth.  Click below for a job description and application.
