The Mills County 4-H program is organized into 12 community clubs. The first step in becoming a 4-H member is to join one of the community clubs listed in the link below. Most clubs meet once a month for one to three hours in a community building, a local church, or a member's home. The format of a meeting includes: a business meeting using parliamentary procedure, an educational presentation by members or leaders, recreation or music, and snacks. Clubs also decide on a wide range of recreational, educational, and community service activities, such as parties, campouts, field trips, caroling, community cleanups, etc.
For more information on one of the clubs listed above, please contact the Mills County Extension Office (712) 624-8616.
