Even though the cold conditions outside may have you thinking that spring is a long way off, it’s not too early to get some information and great ideas to make this gardening year one of the best! The Mills County Master Gardeners are here to help with this series of six seminars open to gardeners of all ages and abilities!

Live Healthy Iowa has selected 14 communities across Iowa as host sites for the 2nd annual Live Healthy Iowa 5K events.  The events, scheduled for Saturday, April 11, will be held in Glenwood, Bondurant, Carroll, Clarion, Decorah, Dike, Fairfield, Hiawatha, Mount Ayr, Osage, Perry, Storm Lake, Waukee and West Liberty.  Proceeds from the events will benefit local wellness efforts in these communities, as well as Adaptive Sports Iowa.

4th- 6th Graders are invited to a day of fun and adventure on June 23rd from 9-3pm.  CREW Leadership Team will be hosting this fun event and will be assisted by Mills County Conservation in the afternoon.
