The FTC Team called Technical Difficulties, went to their final event of the season and competed well.  This team is led by Tracey Anderson and Joe Wortman.  They built this team from scratch and showed what alot of 4H determination and youth support can really do!

The 5th Annual AttendThis! Event is happening on Sunday, January 18th at the Malvern Community Building.  Participants can prepare a baked good for the BakeThis! competition, or they can set a themed table for the SetThis! tablesetting contest.  Judging will be done between 1:30-3:30pm approximately and awards will begin after judging is complete.

Keeping young cows in the herd is critical to ensure enterprise profitability and facilitate herd expansion; particularly with decreased numbers in the national cow herd.  Plan to attend these clinics to learn more ways to keep her working for you.  Topics include nutrition, management, costs, health, reproductive management, and lifetime productivity.

owa State University Extension and Outreach in Harrison County is excited to announce that Annie’s Project will be offered in Logan. A steering committee met on December 15th in the conference room of the Harrison County Extension and Outreach Office.  The purpose of the meeting was to establish the dates, times and topics for this six week course.
