Glenwood and Mills County area residents have an opportunity to meet face-to-face with their state Legislators to be updated & to discuss current topics & issues facing  Southwest Iowa.

ISU/Mills County Extension is offering Pork Quality Assurance training on February 19, 2015.  The pork industry recommends these trainings that make producers eligible to sell animals at specific harvest facilities.  Through this program, pork producers become certified in PQA Plus and Transportation Quality Assurance (TQA).

Women, Land & Legacy of Southwest Iowa will be presenting “Women Gaining Ground,” a one-day conference designed to be fun and empowering for women from all walks of life.  The conference will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Shenandoah, Iowa from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

The WLL Committee is excited to announce that the keynote speaker for this inaugural event will be Holly Hoffman, from the CBS reality show, “Survivor.”

Grades 4-8th are invited to attend the 1st Annual Agronomy Club Event on April 11th

The FTC Team called Technical Difficulties, went to their final event of the season and competed well.  This team is led by Tracey Anderson and Joe Wortman.  They built this team from scratch and showed what alot of 4H determination and youth support can really do!
