Master Equine Manager 1: Test-Out Exam

The Test
The Master Equine Manager Examination is a multiple choice and true-false exam. There are 50 questions (2 pts. each for a total of 100 pts.) over equine behavior; facilities; selection and evaluation; hoof care; nutrition; and diseases and parasites. You will take the examination on-line. You have two hours to complete the exam.  

Suggested Preparation
Once you register for the examination you will receive a password and have access to power points and references on Moodle – a secure on-line course management system. You can study these references as long as you require. Once you are ready to take the examination, contact Dr. Peggy Auwerda, peggy@iastate.eduor Dale Miller, dmill@iastate.eduand you will receive the password to take the examination.

Test Date
You can take the examination on any day you choose.

Registration for the Exam
Complete the registration formand submit the $195 for the exam.

Evaluation
You will receive your grade as soon as the examination is complete. To be certified an 80% or better is required on the examination.
