Jody is a registered dietician with a Masters degree in nutritional sciences from ISU and a B.A. in health and pyschology from Graceland University in Lamoni, IA; during her graduate experience she worked on various projects for Extension including creating nutrition publications, writing weekly food, recipe, and activity information for the Extension website. She has applied her knowledge of both nutrition and physical activity in a variety of settings, from training and counseling in a fitness center to educating collegiate athletes to working with participants of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children
(WIC).
