Marshall County Extension Position Opening

Marshall County Extension Office and Program Assistant
Marshall County ISU Extension office is seeking a qualified person to serve as the Office and Program Assistant.  The ideal candidate will have the required skills and experience to provide clients with friendly, efficient service and ISU research-based information while assisting and in teamwork with County Extension Administrator, Field Specialists and County Staff in the operation of the Marshall County Extension office.
 
Position is hourly, 37.5 hours/week.

The Iowa Master Conservationist Program gives Iowans hands-on interaction with the diversity of Iowa’s natural resources.  The program teaches about wildlife and plant communities, and provides accurate information on a broad range of conservation issues. Ultimately, it provides individuals the resources to make informed, intelligent choices for a sustainable lifestyle. “Mastering” is a journey, and this course is the first step.

Boone, Hardin, Marshall, and Story County Junior 4-H members who are completing 4th, 5th, or 6th grades are invited to the Fun in the Sun! Tri-County Junior 4-H Camp Wednesday, July 30 through Friday, August 1 at the Iowa 4-H Camping Center.

Leading the Way is a camp designed to give you the experience and skill needed to succeed. This camp will provide you with different life skills each year, and will help foster positive youth development. The camp is open to 4-Hers in Jones, Linn, Benton, Tama, Marshall, Hardin, Story, and Boone Counties.
