TENTATIVE 2013 SOUTHERN IOWA FAIR 4-H/FFA SCHEDULE:

Saturday, July 13:
Exhibit Hall and 4-H Building exhibit judging (8:30am)
Horticulture Judging (Sign-in begins at 2:30pm;  Judging 3:00-5:00pm) in 4-H Building
(Dog Exhibitors will be judged first for Horticulture)
Dog Show (5pm) in Pavilion

            Monday, July 15
                                Swine Weigh-in - 7:30-10 AM
                                Poultry Check-in - 9-11 AM
                                Sheep Weigh-in - 10 AM-Noon
                                Rabbit Check-in - 10 AM-Noon
                                Bottle Lamb/Goat Check-in - 1-2 PM
                                B/B Calf Check-in - 2-4 PM – No meeting this year
                                Bucket’o’Junk Judging – 3:30 PM (FFA Building)
                                Meat Goat Weigh-in/Check-in - 4-6 PM
                                Dairy Check-in—by 6 PM in Dairy Barn w/Superintendents
                                Bottle Lamb Interviews - 6 PM (4-H office)
                                Beef Weigh-in/Check-in - 6-8 PM
                Tuesday, July 16
                                Advanced Feeder Pen Weigh-in – 6-7 AM
                                Swine Show - 8AM-1PM approx.
                                Advanced Feeder Pen Interviews – 9-10 AM
                                Communications: Educ. Pres., Share-the-Fun & Extemp Spkng.– 11:00 AM-1:00 PM & 2:00-5:00 PM (Free Stage)
                                Beef Fitting Challenge – 2:00-5:00 PM approx. (Pavilion)
                                Advanced Feeder Pen Conference – 2-3 PM (Fair Board office)
                                Bottle Goat Interviews - 3-4 PM (Fair Board office)
                                Horse Check-in - 4-6 PM
                                Pet Show – 5-6 PM (Free Stage)
                                Livestock Judging Contest – 5-7:00 PM approx. (Pavilion)
