11/09/2009- Mahaska County Clover Kids in Oskaloosa
Youth in Kindergarten - 3rd grade are invited to take part in Clover Kids activities. WE meet in the 3-5 Activity Area of the Oskaloosa Elementary School. The cost is $15 for the year.

11/10/2009- Nutrition/Horticulture Activity at Kids Korner Preschool
Suzette Striegel, Mahaska County Extension Horticulturist and/or other MCEO staff will have a nutrition/horticulture activity for the Preschool students.

11/10/2009- Fremont Clover Kids

11/10/2009- Master Gardener Winter Potluck & Program
Previously trained Master Gardeners will meet for their Winter Potluck & program. Program includes Mike Gipple, MCCB Director "What to See at Mahaska County Conservation Areas"

11/11/2009- Horticulture Activities at White Oak (Assisted Living) Estates
Suzette Striegel, Mahaska County Extension Horticulturist will lead residents in a horticulture activity.

11/12/2009- Horticulture Activities at Northern Mahaska Nursing & Rehabilitation
Suzette Striegel, Mahaska County Extension Horticulturist will lead residents in a horticulture activity.

11/12/2009- Welcome to Child Care/Reducing the Health Risks in Child Care
Center directors and staff. Child Care Resource and Referral sponsored training.

11/14/2009- Beyond Business Basics: Part 4
Child development home providers, directors and center staff. Free to Mahaska and Wapello providers; $10 for all other counties. Child Care Resource and Referral sponsored training.

11/14/2009- Mahaska Co. 4-H Awards Celebration & Potluck
This event will be held at Bradbury Hall at Nelson Pioneer Farm northeast of Oskaloosa.

11/16/2009- Where The Wild Things Are
K-3rd Graders are invited to attend this one day program that will teach participants about wildlife in our forests and how forests surround us everyday. We will read "Where The Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak and finish the day with a video. Participants will be introduced to new ideas and will work on several hands-on activities with their pee
