In Iowa there are several Quality Initiatives that child care providers can be involved in to assist with increasing the quality of their child care programs. While some standards are the same for both Family Child Care Homes and Child Care Centers, there are some quality initiatives that are specific to the setting that child care is provided in. In this newsletter, we will cover quality in Child Care Centers and Preschools.

Looking for quality child care? Contact Child Care Resource & Referral of Central Iowa for a list of local providers - call 515.246.3560 or 800.722.7619, or visit the CCR&R website.
