Youth Council Members - Get the 4-1-1 on What's Happening

Here is a space for you to check to see what is going on in case you miss a meeting or need to check the date of an upcoming event.  I will text everyone when a new update is posted.

National 4-H Week School Visits: 

  • Visit Mormon Trail Wednesday 10/7/09 @ 1:30 PM (Chelsea & Derek)

 

  • Visit Columbus Elementary Thursday 10/8/09 morning (around 9 AM)

Let me know (call or email) if you can help with Columbus (we can work something out if it needs to be a little later than 9 AM)

 

  • Visit Van Allen Elementary Friday 10/9/09 morning (around 9 AM)

Let me know (call or email) if you can help with Van Allen (we can work something out if it needs to be a little later than 9 AM)

 

  • Visit Chariton Middle School Friday 10/9/09 during their lunch (11 AM – 12:15 PM)

  • Helpers are needed for Clover Sprouts @ Extension Office on October 13
    1st Session: 4 PM - 5 PM
    2nd Session: 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
    Silver Chord Hours are available for helpers
  • We will visit schools during National 4-H Week (October 4-11)  Sonya will check back with everyone with dates and times the schools say we can come
  • Kent is checking to see if we can set-up a recruitment table during the Freshman game at Homecoming (6 PM - 6:45 PM was suggested).  If it is ok, we will need help manning the table and providing info about 4-H.
  • We will be in the CHS Homecoming parade
  • Working on time to schedule hayride (maybe bonfire) for fun event for the group - more info coming at a later date
  • T-shirt committee will come up with designs for this year's Youth Council shirt - it was voted to have names listed on the back again.  Cost of shirts will be $15
