4-H Big in Lucas County
Lucas County has 12 active local 4-H clubs.  The community provides support to help keep our program running.  4-H is one of the strongest youth organizations operating in Lucas County.  Call the Extension Office to find out more about Clover Sprouts and 4-H.

Master Gardner Program Growing

Local residents have been working to revive the Master Gardner program in Lucas County.  This group of dedicated people have performed numerous hours of community service by maintaining planters on the square, beautifying the fairgrounds, helping with programs to educate the community about storm damaged trees, working with day camps about horticulture and various other activities.  A new class will be offered beginning December 2008/January 2009 for those interested in becoming a Master Gardner.  Call the Extension Office for more information on how to enroll.
