ISU Extension & Outreach in Louisa County is now accepting applications for a County 4-H & K-12 Youth Enrichment Coordinator.  This is a permanent, full time opening for a caring adult that has the right combination of education, experience and interest in youth development.  This job includes management of the 4-H program in Louisa County, but also includes development and leadership of additional K-12 enrichment activities, volunteer management as well as work on additional Extension & Outreach initiatives involving youth.

AMES, Iowa — Rental rates for Iowa farmland have been pushed significantly higher by the favorable corn and soybean prices farmers have enjoyed since 2010. This trend continued in 2013, but the rate of increase slowed considerably.

  • Reports of recent and historical trends in the local retail trade sector by city.

  • The Iowa Small Business Development Center (SBDC) conducts research, counsels, and trains business people in management, financing, and operating small businesses, and provides comprehensive information services and access to experts in a variety of fields.

  • The ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship is a gateway that works in two directions. In one direction, ISU faculty, researchers, and students become connected to the entrepreneurial world. In the other, Iowa's business and entrepreneurial community gain access to an array of resources and information within Iowa State University.
