Nine of your neighbors, co-workers and friends set policy for The Louisa County Extension District .  Half of the council seats come up for election every two years.   Members are elected during the general election in November and council terms are 4 years.

The Louisa County Extension office brings the research and resources of Iowa State University directly to our county residents. Our new Stakeholders Report for 06/07 tells a little more about us.
