Due to the projected flood waters from the Wapsipinicon River flooding the Linn County Fairgrounds, the scheduled events for the Linn County Fair have been moved, postponed or even cancelled.
The 4-H Communications events, which include educational presentations, share the fun, extemporaneous speaking and working exhibits, as well as the 4-H Pie Auction have been POSTPONED. A special event will be planned to incorporate all of these events into one. Details will be coming. The date, time and place for this event is still to be determined.
All Linn County Fair grandstand and grounds events after today, June 26, have been cancelled for the fair. The Fairboard BBQ, Queen Coordination and Opening Programming is still set up for tonight. Tonight’s events have been moved from the grandstand to the Farm Bureau Free Entertainment Tent on the Linn County Fairgrounds.
The Linn County Fair 4-H Livestock events have been moved to the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Manchester, Iowa. You can find more information on those shows at http://bit.ly/FairMoved
