Lowe Park Greenhouse
4500 N 10th Street
Marion, IA 52302

You can create a great looking winter arrangement using a variety of plant materials from your yard.  Linn County Master Gardeners Shelby Foley and Phil Pfister will show you some of the plants that can be used in arrangements and how to enhance them to create a natural container or hanging basket that can be enjoyed all winter long.  You can attend this workshop as a participant making an arrangement, or as an observer.

Register by emailing mkenyonb@iastate.edu or by calling (319) 377-9839. There is a material fee of $6.00 for those making & taking home their arrangements. For those wanting to take their arrangement home, a check or exact change is requested.

What is the Homegrown Lifestyle Network?
A group of individuals eager to connect to the land, grow their own foodin a way that sustains their natural environment, and create a sustainable way of life.  This program, through Linn County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, provides opportunities for the general public to enjoy monthly tours, speakers, and other educational opportunities related to the topics covered by the Homegrown Lifestyle program (urban agriculture, local foods, edible landscape design, trees, fruits, vegetables, food preservation, beekeeping, poultry, natural resource conservation, and much more).  Participants in the network are also able to learn from one another and share their experiences! Would you like to be a part of the Network?  Contact us to be part of it:  ISU Extension & Outreach Linn County at 319-377-9839 or by email to mkenyonb@iastate.edu
