The Linn County Master Gardeners will present these upcoming FREE garden classes during March and April, 2013.
No registration is required.

Beginner's Square Foot Gardening---Is your space limited but you would still like to have fresh herbs and vegetables? Join Kim Seward, Linn County master gardener, to learn how to select a location, set up a square foot garden, and have continuous crops throughout the growing season.

Bringing Color to the Shade Garden—Creatively add color to any shade garden using garden art and some favorite annual and perennial shade plants. Lori Bailey looks beyond hostas for great alternative shade plants and complementary plants.

New and Unusual Perennials for 2013---Garden catalogs are full of amazing perennials. How do we select the right perennials for our garden? Which Perennials are the best for Iowa gardens? Even if you have been growing Perennials for years, Deb Walser will show some of the newest and coolest perennials available in Nurseries near you. Deb will also talk about her favorite plants that grow in her gardens.
