Linn County 4-H members in the clothing project participated in the Clothing Event competition on Thursday, June 18 at the Linn County Extension. For the clothing selection division, 4-H’ers competing, selected outfits that represented the member’s intended use of the outfit. In the Fashion Revue division members constructed a garment of their choice. After the judging process, a fashion show was held at the fair. The $15 challenge challenges youth to create an outfit for under $15 from alternative sources such as resale stores.
Those receiving honors are:
Senior Fashion Revue: Hannah Elliott, Anamosa; Abigail Chihak, Lisbon.
Senior Clothing Selection: Kim Jordan, Marion
$15 Challenge: Natalie Ertz, Central City
The following youth were chosen to represent Linn County at the Intermediate Coral Ridge Clothing Event:
Intermediate Clothing Selection: Lauren Williams, Cedar Rapids.
Intermediate $15 Challenge: Paul Elliott, Anamosa
