Quilting Club

Like Sewing? Want to learn how to make your own quilt? Come join the New 4-H Quilting Club! Learn how to sew and design your own quilt with members of the East Iowa Heirloom Quilters Guild. This is a great opportunity to complete a project to take to the Linn County Fair, July 2011, early in the year.

When:

Every second Monday of the month from 6:30pm – 8:00pm beginning October 11th, 2010 and continuing through September 12, 2011.

Fee:   $35 if new to or re-enrolling in 4-H (includes membership in 4-H for 2010-2011 club year)

KOI  Fish Club

It’s time to get out of the boat and check out what’s in the water! The New Linn County Koi Fish Club is kicking off the year by meeting at the Bickal Koi Farm on October 14th at 7pm. Come learn about raising Goldfish or Koi fish to show at the Linn County Fair -an ideal project for both urban and rural 4-H youth! Work as a family to add a new feature to your backyard!
