Master Gardeners are a dedicated group of trained volunteers willing to share their horticulture knowledge, a love of gardening, an enthusiasm for learning, and a commitment to helping others. Linn County Residents are invited to apply to become a Master Gardener and become a member of the Fall 2014 class. Applications are due August 8th.

Linn County is offering 2 farm leasing meetings during August. The 2 1/2-hour workshop focuses on issues related to land values and rental rates, Iowa’s Water Quality Initiative, the Agricultural Act of 2014 and more.  Registration is required in advance.
