"[The LIFE program] gave me lots of good ideas with the little newsletters— [I] saved them and read them all the time."
~LIFE 1 Participant~
The key to a successful, enjoyable, and safe LIFE Program experience is ensuring that the trainers and on-site leaders are well prepared. The training workshop was developed as a hybrid program consisting of online/computer-based self-study modules and a three-hour in-person training workshop entailing instruction regarding the interactive games and exergaming technology.
Everything you need for a successful Trainer workshop:
Best Practices and Tips for trainers
Interactive Games Instructions for each day
Weekly Guides for each week
Handouts for Trainees
The online/computer-based self-study modules are the PowerPoint sessions created for the original eight hour LIFE 1 workshop with voiceover recordings discussing the information. Younger adult trainers and onsite leaders will review these lessons prior to attending the training workshop.
